Yesterday I was flying to Helsinki, Finland.
Short, easy, low flight (50 minutes).
Then suddenly aircraft dropped into "air pocket".
"Air pocket" is merely another term for ordinary turbulence. You might feel as if you're falling from the sky, but rest assured, if you flying commercially, you rarely gain or lose more than about twenty feet, especially if the plane is on autopilot.
Of course, me and my colleague were in the end of our service, and many people were with coffees, other drinks already. Of course, all spilled out. Some got injured, burned with liquid.
Well... here you go.
It's not always chocolates and flowers.
P.S. I'm fine, though. Just got scared.
